The hydraulic system design process
Our hydraulic system design process gives you all the control over your project. As an independent hydraulic system designer, we aren’t affiliated with any brand or components. You retain ownership of the design and can choose who you want to build it at the best price.
Our hydraulic system design process is as follows:
1. Book your consultation
Choose a date and time to have a consultation with one of our specialist hydraulic design engineers. We can meet over the phone or on a Google Meet video call.
Enter your credit card details into the Stripe secure payment portal to pay the initial consultation fee of $120.00 USD.
Note: If you want your initial consultation by phone, you will need to supply us with a phone number to reach you before you can book a time. If you want to use Google Meets, we will supply the meeting link for the arranged time.
2. Consultation process
Your consultation with one of our specialist hydraulic design engineers is 60 minutes, giving us enough time to understand your goals and ask any questions required to carry out your design quotation.
You can share preferred component brands. If you have specifications or schematics required for your design, you can upload these.
If you are unable to read a hydraulic schematic, let us know and we can draw your design in a more pictorial arrangement to make it easier to interpret.
3. Receive your design quote
Within 24 hours, you will receive your quote from us to carry out your custom design.
4. Accept your design quote
If you are happy with the quotation and wish to proceed with your design, simply confirm by email. Our accounts team will send you an invoice. The initial consultation fee will be deducted from the hydraulic design quote.
A 50% deposit is required for us to start your design, so once you’ve paid it, we will carry out your design.
5. Design in progress
One of our design engineers will pick up your job and contact you directly if they have any questions or need further information.
6. Peer review
Once our specialist hydraulic design engineer finishes your design, it will be passed to another of our professionals for peer review. This ensures our very high standards have been met. We will send an email to let you know your design is in its final stages of approval.
At this point, the remainder of the quote is due.
7. Final design emailed to you
As soon as your payment clears, you will receive your full design and specification list. We supply these as a vxds (visio drawing) or pdf file.
8. You now have control
Your custom design will include all the specifications and schematics you require to source the appropriate components from wherever and whoever you see fit.
Alternatively, you can send your design to one or more hydraulic service providers and get comparative quotes for the build. This allows you to complete your project at the best price.
